Experience a symphony of voices collected from over 250 people living along the Route 28 corridor. Listen to their compelling personal stories that reveal how we are all different and also the same.

RACE: Are We So Different? 

Included with Exhibit Halls admission

Learn the story of race from biological, cultural, and historical points of view. The RACE Project explains the differences among people and reveals the reality – and unreality – of race, while encouraging visitors to engage in discussions about how race continues to shape our lives today.

Remixing Race Through Film 

Wednesday, February 16, 7:00 p.m.

Llewellyn Smith and Christine Herbes-Sommers, producers of notable PBS series such as Race: The Power of an Illusion, discuss how they use film to deconstruct notions of race and identity, and give a sneak preview of their current project. Admission is free, but seating is limited. Advance registration is required.
